3 days down and the Spring Meeting of the DPG AMOP group is in full swing here in Heidelberg.  The program is excellent and the beautiful weather is a bonus.

I have spent much of my time on the IOP Publishing stand talking to researchers, students and Board Members, but have had a chance to attending some exciting talks as well.  Some of my highlights so far have been the plenary talks by Professor Serge Haroche on Fifty years of revolutions in atomic physics and quantum optics and Dr Margaret Murnane on Science at the timescale of the electron.

We will be exhibiting on Thursday as well, so be sure to come along and say hello just inside the entrance to building K, where registration was (we still have plenty of free pens!).
