The University of Manchester next week plays host to a swarm of physicists working in nuclear physics, particle physics and astroparticle physics.
It’s ‘IOP2015’, the Institute of Physics’ group meeting for all three fields, all taking place at the same time in the same venue. It’s not only an opportunity to share and learn, but an opportunity for collaboration across disciplines. I’ll be there on behalf of Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics to find out what’s going on.
The event has renowned speakers from across the globe, but focusses on the Institute’s members and early career researchers. It promises to be an exciting event for many, and not just because of the annual ‘Bubble Chamber‘ football tournament!
In Manchester for the event? Come by the JPhysG stand in the exhibition for a chat, and to find out more about publishing in our journal.
