Graded bundles – our latest publisher’s pick

In our new Publisher’s Pick article researchers Andrew Bruce, Katarzyna Grabowska and Janusz Grabowski from the Polish Academy of Sciences and University of Warsaw present their latest work on developing new geometrical tools for dealing with higher order Langrangians.

Building upon their recent work on the concept of graded bundles the researchers have developed a geometric approach to higher order mechanics in the Langrangian and Hamiltonian formalism via weighed algebroids, as well as considering the corresponding Tulczyjew triple.

Read the full interview for the story behind the research and see what they plan to do next.
