Running annually since 2000, the QIPC conference has been held at many top destinations around Europe including Florence (Italy), and Zurich (Switzerland), and this year makes it’s way to one of England’s great cities, Leeds. The conference aims to bring together researchers from all aspects of Quantum Information Science, some of the topical areas to be covered over the 5 day event include:
Throughout the week I am hoping to attend many of the plenary and invited talks by speakers from key institutions across the world. On Wednesday evening is the conference dinner taking place in Leeds Town Hall where I am looking forward to hearing a talk from Emeritus Professor Sir Peter Knight, ex President and Fellow of the Insitute of Physics.
In the gaps and during any spare time I will be based in the conference exhibition hall so please do come by! I will be available to talk and answer questions about JPhysA, the JPhys+ blog and the work done by IOP.
Hope to see you there!
