How to make objects invisible

Metamaterials don’t occur in nature but are instead engineered to have specific properties. Watch the video below to understand how these materials can make objects invisible.

This scientific principle is now being put into practise. Researchers are going beyond the use of light waves to not only make objects invisible, but also cloak objects, and protect buildings from seismic activity. These intricate and fascinating materials have a multitude of properties and applications. Who knows where they will take us next?
