Image of the Week

Our Image of the Week this week comes from a Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics Letter. In their letter Wei-Chen Tu et al investigate the use of three methods to increase the efficiency of textured Silicon solar cells: reduced graphene oxide (rGO), gold nanoparticles and silver nanowires.

SEM images of solar cells with rGO/AuNPs/AgNWs hybrid materials as top electrodes. The weight percentage proportion of rGO:AuNPs:AgNWs = (a) 1:1:1, (b) 2:1:1, (c) 1:2:1, (d) 1:1:2, (e) 2:2:1, respectively. Reproduced from Wei-Chen Tu et al 2016 J.Phys. D:Appl. Phys. 49 49LT02
